ALEX LARSON

This was one of our most difficult projects for me, but it was super fun. For this project we had to find a picture of ourselves, trace it in sharpie, decide what we wanted white or black, and carve it out. Something I think I did well was the lines. I used straight diagonal lines for the hair that was more towards the back and instead of doing the same lines in the background I decided to change it a little bit and do waves. I also liked the chatter in the waves and my shirt because it gave it more texture. The repetition is also good in this because the waves repeat. Something I wish I would've done better was make it more neat and take my time. I felt like I didn't have a lot of time, so I think mine is a little sloppy around my face.
