For this etching project I chose a flower because I really like them and I could make it any color I wanted. I had a good use of color in the last one with the purple and red. Without that color there would be a lot of white space like the other ones and I didn't like that, so I tried to use more color. In the middle of the flower there was a lot of texture with the little lines and by going over the flower petals a little more created more texture. There was also good repetition in the flower petals and the middle with the lines. I struggled with the center of the flower because I couldn't get all the little lines in there.
